Just finished and starting to like it!

Finished this today...all except for darning in the ends and giving it its first wash. I'm very pleased with how the flange binding turned out and I think I will make this my regular method. I had to scrap around to find suitable fabric in my stash but think I did ok.  I had a bit of a "nervous nelly" moment when sewing the binding on as I wanted to use green thread for the top and yellow for the bobbin. How delighted was I that I got my tension spot on and neither thread colour peeked through to the other side! love, love, love my Juki!

A big fan of a flange here.  It's gorgeous and the backing is perfect.  Well worth stepping out of your comfort zone for.

Love, Love. Love it too ... my address is ........

Its so fresh and gorgeous ... Feels like Spring to me! Glorious!

Bravo on the binding and especially the tension issue ... sometimes I make a .. ahem  'feature' of the thread on the binding by enlarging the stitch width of the blankets stitch and using a standout colour as it is so difficult to get the tension right on 'wide' stitches such as zigzag, BS etc.

Rubywishes that is beautiful, love the colours and I am impressed with the edges and mitres, and the actual quilting - and I am not really a quilter - just a dabble now and then.
