Another query if I may be so bold...
Say I finish my victims mug rug early. Do I inform him/her it's from me in the parcel or do I leave them guessing who it's from and wondering why it's ticking till the final date when boom! we get our answers?

Guessing is always best, I reckon @Bill . It took me ages to try and guess my Secret Santa sender - she had to come clean and put me out of my misery though I would have got there in the end!!

Some of us put labels on the mug rug @Bill cos we is arrogant buggers proud of our work. Personal choice.

@Bill , I’ve always sent a note saying who it is from and indeed have always known who sent to me, either because there’s a note or because the item is labelled.

This is only my second swop, but I put a label my first and was pleased to find a label on the one I received. I've enjoyed using it and think of that person when looking at the mug rug, although I've never met them in person.

I use All the MugRugs Im lucky enough to have received ... theyre always around on the table.

I remember asking a visitor to choose one when  she came round for coffee, she was quite disappointed when she realised I didnt mean to take away but to use for her mug!!!

Pic taken just now, half asleep and bleary eyed. I must admit I dont use Sandras Spring equinox bunny as an actual Mug Rug ... Too beautiful to risk a slop of coffee on.

I've only done one mug-rug swap, @Bill and I gave a fairly heavy hint without declaring myself entirely so the person could try and guess - which she did. Iirc I put a little knitted bear in with the package.

Someone's quick of the mark.  Postman Pat (well, Alex) has just brought me an envelope labelled TSP swap  . It will mature on my bookshelf until the equinox.  I hope it's not perishable!

Remember Peeps, you need to factor in Travelling time for your MR's ...

There are only TWO long(ish) haul participants, William in Germany and Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland, so their swappers have to allow extra time for their MR's to get to them.

I would say the rest of you should be looking to post on Saturday the 18th ... and Please Peeps, dont let your swappee down.
