@Iminei it was all done in the hoop including the satin stitch so no way to line it back up with those raw edges.  I might try to selvage the mat somehow, today I will try another ……

Well, I photographed 2 of mine  (smug emoji needed). However, I didn't photograph the last one as that needs to be forgotten about and I hope the recipient of it will also forget to photograph it as the edges are so truly awful it needs to be in the hall of shame.

I've also posted them off.

I had a lovely squashy parcel arrive this morning as well  - all labeled with TSP MR21. Squeee, so excited.

I’m excited to report that the postman brought me a little package from Gloucestershire today. I’m being restrained and have it put aside to open on the appointed day! Thank you to my swappee!
