Yes, @Celia, it is a lovely soft yarn and it knits up nicely. I knit grandson's socks in the Fox colourway and I've got some more to do DH another pair. It's a nice price as well  :P
So many beers, so little time.

@realale, I love the blue color of your socks. So up my alley color wise.

I finally got back to knitting on the socks. DH has Alzheimer and I had to put away my knitting as I couldn't knit in the evenings. I was just to tired to do much of anything but watch movies or documentaries or play solitaire.

I picked knitting up again and have the gusset done on sock #2 that I started when back near the end of April. I'm in a better frame of mind, not having to chase DH around as his medication is better balanced.  I decided I needed to start knitting again to relax at night and it is working. I'm hoping to have these socks done by the end of June.

Well done @Ann i find knitting helps me relax more than anything, there is rarely an evening I don’t knit.  Not doing socks at the moment but I have just ordered some more sock wool so it won’t be long.

I haven't stopped sock knitting but it has slowed down considerably over the summer. I knit another purple stripe sock for me (just the one!!) And I'm now currently knitting DH a sock which will hopefully become a pair at some point.
I'm happy with the mindless pattern I have used for the last few socks so may keep the same pattern.  Remember, I'm not a knitter!!  0_0

I'm in, @Celia

Just last week I bought the yarn to make a pair for my friend and my aim is to have enough knitted socks to see me through the winter.

I'm in too and since it's 'Socktober' (the best month of the year :P) that gives me approx 5 weeks to finish the cardigan that I'm halfway through the back of.  Will also need to find a different sock pattern as I'm bored with the one I've got.

I might join in this time. I have had sock wool upstairs for about 2 years just waiting for me to use it and I actually wore through one of my hand knitted pairs last winter, so I’ll need a new pair. There’s nothing as warm as woollen knitted socks I find - by all accounts we’re going to need them this winter!

I’m in, but I will need to hunt down an easier sock pattern  :embarrassed: , I’m not very good at knitting socks but I’ll have another go  :thumb: I got some sock wool bookmarked that @realale used last time, I’ll order that when I get back from holiday.

I am in but want a more interesting pattern
Battling to finish 2nd sock for DH.  Soft tops and superwash wool to replace ones that shrink and leave ridges.  Of course it has to be boring plain knit and boring plain colour. Labour of love!

If it has cooled down by October I'll join in.  Can't think about woolly anything whilst it's so warm and humid!

Just realised if these are a success, I may have to do more boring ones, so I may have 2 pairs on the go. Not going to be cheated of my fancy socks.

@toileandtrouble do post any ideas for interesting pattern as I am looking for something a bit different too.

I will start at the beginning of September as I have a couple of things to finish off first.

I find anything other than plain knit  has the potential to look too much like bedsocks.  I have done a plain pair with a simple cable which was ok.
