DH & I went to this event over the weekend. We both loved it; nice to be able to see an in-person event again. (Masks were required, but I have no issue with that.)

Prior to the first one we went to (a couple of years ago, pre-covid) we expected to see lots of bed sized quits with pretty geometric patterns.  We saw those, but also so many other things that looked like oil paintings, photographs, stained-glass, etc. We always love the humorous ones.

The vendors are enjoyable too. Yes it’s nice to find goodies that you normally have to order. But it’s also fun to see technology that you haven’t seen and can’t afford.

Here are some fun things we saw.
Our favorite;

My husband is from Canada, so this caught his eye;

I sent a pic of this to a close friend who is a sign-language interpreter. She loved it;

No special significance to this one. We just liked it.

The stuff we bought, along with some plush pals who came along for the trip;

The red, black & white thing is a panel of Minnie & Mickey Mouse. There are also a couple of grip pads for FMQ and a kit to make a “handy towel”. More about that once I’ve made it.

Those are wonderful. I love seeing the things people submit to quilt fests.  Where were these held?
