So Gorgeous!
If you have the fabrics make the new ones ... include the originals on the back

Do you want a label ???????

Does anyone want a label, courtesy of Elvistoo ??????

Wow @Iminei that background fabric is gorgeous!  Mine is quite boring in comparison.

at ££££ !!!!  but Ive stopped scrimping on the backing ... If its right, its right!
I tried desperately to select from the sale fabric but it would not wash!

If you look at the good quilt makers ... their backing is always superb ... dont get me wrong ... The Opus was backed with (a very nice quality) sheet but I put a lot of time and effort in the fronts of quilts and so .....

@Iminei I don't have enough of the other fabrics to make all new blocks, I am taking the old ones apart.  The one you see is just the four corners remade and laid on top of the previous blocks.  I must admit I really like the original ones and am sad to be changing them but I know they don't fit with the rest of them.   :)

EDIT: I would like a label please :)

I don't like the sashing. It doesn't seem to work. I was going to use the background fabric as the border but as can be seen I haven't enough to do both. Alternative is  redo sashing in BF and use a charcoal as block colour as the border.
I'm going backwards and forwards and I just not sure what to do.

I could of course leave it as it is

I’ve done my sashing.
I’ve got a baby quilt to make so may not do much more on this one for a bit.

For me, that sashing works @Bjay, at least in the photo. The blocks are so vibrant that I think sashing that sits quietly in the background is a good choice.
Not sure what you have in mind for the binding, iirc you mentioned flanges, but that could be a bit more 'in-yer-face' if you wanted it to be.

Thanks @Flobear . Over the afternoon decisions were made.

looking carefully at a couple of photos helped.

The grey will be the sashing, the border will be in the Bg fabric to link it all - no idea about the binding will have to see how it looks together but that is a long way off.

Fabulous Fabulous!!!

You could do something for the binding like I did for the 100 shades quilt? I saw the most Fabulous floral, very vivid and I knew I had to have it ...

It was too much, way way too much for a quilting fabric

but as a binding it was perfect!

I hadn't thought of a really bright binding. It would go quite well.
Wish I'd thought about it when I was at the show. It's a long way off though
I wil have some of that raspberry red left from  the ribbon quilt. I had initially bought it to back the,Quiltathon.

Top of quilt complete - still needs a good press but it's going to be stored for  a while so...........

Decision made on binding - bright blue matches the backing and is ised in the blocks. but wont be finished until I have completed the ribbon quilt
