Looking for a particular colour of Gutermann Toldilock I came across this website,  £2.99 per cone with just £2.99 postage as I spent under £10.  I got three and everywhere else I looked was around the £4 plus mark.

Why didn't you just buy four cones?

Ooooo @Gernella !  That was sneaky!  Lovely site.  Why have I not found it before?

I have already started my list...

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Because in the previous 30 minutes or more I'd bought five other things,  I wasn't really going to buy the thread and wait until I was ready, but the postage was cheaper if under a tenner and I only needed three.

Actually I hadn't seen the front page  with the offer on because I'd done a search by colour number and it had taken me direct to the page.

Never seen them before @Celia  which is strange because I'm a bit like poo I get everywhere.

As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

Yes that does seem like a good price for Guterman overlocker cones. I've just bought some very cheap overlocker cones (£7.99 for 4 inc p&p) off eBay so I'll see what they are like. So far, I've got away with very cheap overlocker thread but my bargain might be too good to be true....

I know the Leeds Samuel Taylor's shop well - lots of hobby and fabric in the basement. Worth a visit of you are doing the Leeds fabric stalls in the market. Haven't been in the centre of Leeds for yonks though.  :(
