Starryfish and Bjay ... you're in ... preliminarily.

Everyone has got to think long and hard about commiting to this .... To the timeline, to getting the blocks to me by the end of November at the very latest and to doing their very best work.

I want blocks that are sewn well to the correct size and pressed nicely.

Sorry to be a Sergeant Major about this but it will make assembly so much easier.

Ive made a couple of blocks .. as many of you know Im not really a pastel/floral girl so my choices were quite limited But I will let you have a look and see whether one is too 'bright' or it would fit in to the general brief ... this would also give you all a lot more freedom with colours as the one is not so pastel but still (I hope) far from Primary and in your face.

More in a bit, with hopefully a Poll to see which we prefer.

Then I will release a tutorial in the Darkside tutorials... Please do read through and if you are not 100% sure of anything, practice with some gash fabrics before starting on the real thing.

@Iminei I think I'd better withdraw. My work will probably not be up to the standard you require and my sizing can be a bit hit or miss.
I'm feeling very stressed at the moment and think that such exacting requirements will only make me feel worse.
I'd rather not start than let you down with the quality of my block....even though I have ordered the white on white fabric.
Sorry I fall short of the mark.......

If you absolutely must @Lowena  ... tho I have seen your work and you do excel at Square in Square blocks.

This is not meant to stress anyone out and is a very simple block ... just a lil attention is required to cutting and piecing.

Lowena let me know for sure if you dont wish to continue ... I know we will all be sad if you dont (I just know you have a sumptuous stash of batiks somewhere)

I hadn’t voted but I have now.  Don’t have any strong feelings so I vote for @Ellabella .  I’ll just do as I’m told.
