@rubywishes when I saw the title of your thread I hoped it was the name of a new and fabulous quilt that you had made and not your current state.  Perhaps while you are out of action you can plan a quilt called Misery'  :)
I hope you have a speedy recovery.
Life's too short for ironing.

I hope you start healing well very soon @rubywishes  <3

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Oh @rubywishes that stinks.  Hopefully your recovery speeds up a bit.
Meanwhile you can sit and design and plan, drool over fabrics etc.

@Iminei my one handed would be drink related in the evening but at the moment it’s a raspberry turnover that’s the problem.   :|

Oh that's a real bummer @rubywishes , still as long as you have one arm operational you can design away and lift a glass I guess. And the other one needs doing, ? Double bummer.

8 weeks post surgery and I woke in the early hours with a massive leg cramp, flew out of bed half asleep and flung my arm up against the wall to stretch out the cramped calf muscle and can you guess which arm I reflexively flung out!? :boohoo:
I am now in real pain, back on anti-inflammatories and miserable as heck.
I did manage to sew a, as in "one only" block for my quilt yesterday...took me close on an hour before I had to walk away in dejection and misery!

Ok, rant over, tears wiped away and nose blown several times. I'm creeping off now to read a book on the couch.
