What's this fabric?

Hi there.  I have some tailored white trousers which are sadly too small for me and I'd like to make something similar.  The label in them is 97% cotton / 3% elastine and it's quite a structured fabric with a very faint sort-of herringbone structure on the fabric (not a pattern you can see unless you stare closely, they are just plain white trousers).  They do have a bit a stretch from the elastine.  Any ideas what type of cotton this is?  Thanks.

Sounds like a stretch cotton drill to me too.
