Correx board?

It's what they use in handlebar bags.
Pliable in one direction to go around the corners but stiff in the other direction. Some cushioning too due to the flutes. If you wanted it rattle free you could glue some felt to the correx before sewing it up.

Some more great ideas, thank you peeps  0_0

@SewRuthieSews chopping boards ordered  0_0 (but not arriving until Thursday).

@Lachica Great information, I only have a two pint bottle, (we use very little milk), but it's been washed out ready.

@Bill I must look at Correx board, thank you.

I have a ton of the stuff, goodness knows why: Vilene S520, Pellon Peltex 71F and Decovil are approx equivalents - I have all three (as you would  ><) but prefer the Decovil. I hardly ever use them though. If you weren't in a different country @Bodgeitandscarper I'd send you some.

Good idea @Lachica.  Not tight at all, recycling, repurposing so eco friendly!   :thumb:

I'm delving into bag making and fretting about what stiffening to use.  However the bosal seems very expensive to me.   Any suggestions for a cheaper option?
