Decrease at neck edge?

I’m knitting a pattern that says to shape the neck ‘ K25 , turn, then decrease at neck edge until 19 sts remain’. Would you decrease once at neck edge on every row or on alternate rows? It’s just not clear and not obvious from the photo either.  :\

What is the next instruction?

Taking it literally I read it to mean decrease on every row, which would make sense to decrease sharply (every row) for a few rows and then more gradually (every other row) for a few more rows.

Thanks @BrendaP , just wanted to check someone else understood it as I do.

It then says ‘ continue on these stitches until armhole measures 14cm’

I’ve assumed , as you say, that it means every row, but the neck looks quite wide. I suppose the neckband will bring it in.

Hi @BrendaP ,

This is the pattern. I’ve just ripped it back and decided to knit the neck higher than the pattern says. It was knitting up like a scoop neck rather than a crew neck. I think I’ll just have to improvise a bit, but at least the dinosaur intarsia worked.
