bag making - interfacing question.

I'm making a fur fabric (teddy bear type fur) toddler tote bag for a 3 year old.  The pattern says to interface, but as the fabric is quite thick and stretchy, I'm wondering what type to use.
Can I use curtain interlining as a sew-in interfacing rather than a fusible ?
Advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t think I’d use a fusible on a fur type in case it got crushed when fusing.  The only way you’ll know is to sample and see what it does and if it’s the desired effect.  Personally I would have thought curtain interlining would be a bit thick and make it difficult to handle.
