Shiny leathery lovely.

Today's make is a glasses case.  It's a bit small, fits my cheap-off-internet emergency specs in, but will need to try to enlarge it for my sunglasses.

I lined the flap with a bit of slubby silk, and used some self adhesive velvety stuff for the inside.  And I used a magnetic catch for the first time.

As I suspected, the silk is a bit too loose a weave  as it's already pulled away from the edge stitching near the catch, but hopefully the bit of fray stop will help.

Pretty  :D (dribbling taking place here)

As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

@Bill  It's a secret so don't tell anyone - but it's really easy  :lipsrsealed: , the machine embroiders the two parts then it's just three flat seams on the sewing machine.

@Lachica it was from Imilova creations on Etsy.

@annieeg I used a medium weight embroidery stabiliser, then some self adhesive velvety lining stuff, but cut that so that it sewed in with the satin stitch anyway.
