I wasn't going to waste it, I love this pale blue!

This is a mirror cover/case/wotsit thingy, made up as I went along, the embroidery machine circles were great, then I thought I could sew the top and bottom bits together on the embroidery machine using yet another slightly bigger circle.  It might have worked if the presser foot hadn't caught on the inside edge of the opening and then broke it's needle - twice!!.
So the top and bottom were sewn together on the sewing machine, but although I had lined the m up and followed one of the stitched circles, the bottom piece stretched and the stitching doesn't look so good that side.  But never mind, there's only me will see it
I had thought I'd make a little slip-in case for it too, but then realised that the cut out circle fitted very nicely back in the hole, so I attached it with a little strip leather.  Dunno how long it will fit nicely, but it'll do for now.

Well done - and a good use of the blue leather!
...it was a Hobbit hole, and that meant comfort.
