I've decided to finish off the rag doll I started from from Prima Jan 2007 and if she comes out OK, make another for a friend going into hospital for a hysterectomy.

I'll update with pictures shortly.

Lucy Long Legs Rag Doll from Prima Magazine sewing pattern Jan 2007.

Started many years ago (probably 2007 as that is the year my friend's daughter was born)

I managed to get this far with her...

As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

I decided the existing stuffing was too firm and had a grey tinge, so removed stuffing and redid with less of a softer white stuffing, then added the legs.

Next up - hair!

Have to say some of the sewing is a bit dodgy, but I think she works and has her own character.

Now with a dress with ribbon belt.
One of the shoulders is done with velcro so she can get into the dress.

She's looking good!! Will she get a replica wardrobe of clothes when you make some for yourself? (one for you, one for her!!  ;) )
So many beers, so little time.
