This seems a doable one for January! Well thought out. I have a few small projects I want to do so I'm in for this.  :thumb:

I'm in for January  and i'll be making some oven gloves for which i've just ordered some lovely Moda fabric.
I’m a fabricholic on the road to recovery. Just kidding. I’m on the road to the fabric store.

I have some awful black cotton fabric that was intended for a quilt back but too coarse for that so I was planning to make some shoe bags out of it as it's too large of a piece to toss.  Not very exciting but useful and pretty small.

Ok, I'm in. I REALLY need that apron.

My sewjo has been "sew gone" for "sew long"....maybe this will bring it back.

I also need a knitting needle case
I just made a knitting needle case!! On December 31st!!
Actually it's not a knitting needle case as much as a current project roll. It has pockets to hold my tape measure, stitch markers, spare dpns, crotchet hook, scissors etc. It was useful last night when I was trying to finish off a sock as I knew where everything was. It was made with spare bits of fabric as I was using it as a prototype.
I do need a new oven glove, and apron and have been thinking of replacing my teacosy.......  ;)

Will save scrannying around in the Waitrose carrier bag for odds and sods.

As we normally eat our dinner off our laps on the sofa, I am planning to make an insulated mat to stop the plate overheating my knees. I am going to practice quilting on it.

That's why I made it, @Flobear !! I could never find my crotchet hook when I dropped a stitch, or my darning needle when it came to the toe finishing kitchener or the stitch markers when I needed them etc. They were always jumbled up at the bottom of a bag with odd bits of wool and so on, now they all have their own little section -cue the smug face emoji!!

Perhaps a bib as well. I invariably dribble on myself if I'm not planted at a table.
Hey Bill! Read the manual!  Hehehe.
