@Celia Are you sure you need cotton wadding? I looked at some Youtube videos on how to make oven gloves and they all used just the Insul Bright, no wadding was mentioned.

cotton interlining would do @Celia its all just for added bulk but the important thing is the insulbrite ... Do you have some? I have loads if you need ... just let me know

Thank you, I thought the same @Diane and @Lowena but it is on the packaging for the insobriety, I think I will just use the brushed cotton I have.  Thank you @Iminei but I do have enough to do them.   Spell checker has changed the name of the silvery stuff and won’t let me put it right sorry.

I'm going to join the challenge and make a case for my new Knitpro interchangeable knitting needles.

I bought just the sizes I'll use, rather than splashing out on a full kit, so don't have a case to keep them tidy. I've found a tutorial on YouTube to follow  :D The colours may end up a bit random as I'll just use up scraps I have left over. It will be small, useful and frugal!

I intend to join in, if I can get off my backside and think of something to make before the end of the month.

I'd line to join in but all the things in my list are big items for me. I've just ordered 2 half metre pieces for a 3 year old's t shirt - would that count? I could perhaps make some zipped pouches to use as gifts throughout the year.

As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

How small is small?  I have been tasked by DD3 with making covers for two box cushions which sit on benches in her hallway.

Well, compared to a jumper for an elephant those are quite small. Don't you agree?   :thumb:

I haven't got beyond looking at pictures and thinking 'That's nice...'
I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.
