You know I’m a colour dunce, @Iminei .  They only keep me around here because I’m okay at starting birthday threads.

There doesn’t seem to be much difference in the lightest two fabrics, or the third one and the darkest.  I recommend buying more fabric.   :laughing:

I might look as though I'm talking to you, but inside my head I'm sewing.

@Iminei
The darker greens in the first pic look rather lighter in the later photos.
I think one heavily patterned fabric with other almost plains doesn't look right.

From the original pic, and reading left to right ABCDEFGHI
I would choose A C F G H

Unless it's really urgent, I go with Pearl's suggestion of buying more fabric.

Thank you everyone, I thought C too ... I understand your thought regarding the patterned fabric @BrendaP  but it does work ...

What doesnt work in that Gem was the wavy fabric ... I was hesitant to use too much of the patterned fabric (in this colour combination) in that as I thought, exactly as you say, it was too contrasting but had I used it instead of the wavy (which was where is was meant to be) it would have been perfect.

So Im resewing this Gem with a few more facets in ... hence the need for the fabric choices.

I have a lot of ... close your ears @Lowena  ... Green fabrics but most of them have a yellow element and Im looking for a Green Green/blue tone.
