Well done!  That looks good, and the bride got what she wanted (and that's all that matters for a wedding dress!)

Well done you.  These alterations are like childbirth- after a while you forget the worst bits and can revel in other people's admiration.   
It is lovely to see how happy you have made someone else, but probably a good idea not to stress yourself again.  Now enjoy your own sewing.
