I thought it would be a good idea to buy some self adhesive tape measures for a couple of my machines, so found some at only £1.99 each. I now know why they are so cheap - hopefully when the thick backing paper is off they will smooth out!

I bought one some time ago, not exactly cheap. I stuck it to my cutting table. It was very useful....for a while and then the top started to part company from the base. So I was left with a white strip and no numbers!
not very helpful. Hope yours flatten out ok.

That's appalling. I think I would ask for a refund. No attempt to package carefully. They might be cheap but they should still be fit for purpose

I probably should complain, but for a couple of quid, it hardly seems worth the effort. I think once they are unpeeled from the backing paper, they'll be ok. The tape part is quite thin, so should smooth out.
