Hello and welcome from me too. I'm nowhere near Suffolk. Or Cornwall. Or Norfolk.  :P
So many beers, so little time.

@realale You can come and join us anytime  ;)
As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

Best move I made @Kenora  for my health. The drier air has helped me no end. :)
Yes, come East @realale  you know it makes sense  :D
@Suffolkone1 I did live in Cornwall for 16 years but moved back East in 2019
Triumph of hope over experience :D

Welcome @Suffolkone1
Here's another one who has been 'Suffolkated'
Welcome to the world of TSP!
I was born and educated in Essex, moved to South Norfolk in the early 80's, then to North Suffolk (Beccles) until 2000 then moved down to just outside Bury St Edmunds - where I have been ever since! (and the town is growing and growing, and not for the better!)
I have learnt by my mistakes: Sewing machines now are Bernina 720, Bernina 1008, Bernina 801 from 1981, Brother overlocker, ancient but works well

Hello and welcome.

Love and relate to your poem.

I’ve never been to Suffolk or Norfolk, but it sounds lovely.
The only bit of the east coast I’ve visited was Skeggy when I was young, as my grandparents lived there.

I’m down in the far south west corner of Ireland.

Hello and welcome from me too @Suffolkone1 !  Loved your poem - very apt at this time of the year!

Look forward to seeing your projects!

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.
