You might want to stalk your swappee for a lil while but its not necessary ...

Remember the theme is SPRING, any technique can be used as long as it a usable Mug Rug (or a set) that you make.

Please do your BEST work (Feel free to make a practice one or two) and please, please, please Do Not let anyone down !!! Its happened in one swap and I personally was distraught.

Remember to mark your envelope SES 22 and post in time for the package to arrive on Saturday 19th March in time for the BIG REVEAL on Sunday 22nd!

I’m making progress with my practice mug rug but am a bit concerned about the size.  When does a mug rug become a mini quilt?

I use my biggest mug plus an inch extra on the sides then doubled it in length for the all important biscuit support.

I'm hoping to make several so can either be a set or can pick the best one or two.  Have a baby playmat quilt for a friend to finish first though.

and as a garment sewist I'm very aware that my P&Q skills are very beginner and I wouldn't want my swap recipient to be disappointed.

Yes. I've got my swappee too  and @Iminei  in reply to your question on the today thread, I'll still be at this current address. The earliest I was willing to move was going to be the very end of March (and that's only if my neighbours hand the keys over by the end of Feb).

P & Q is supposed to be my thing and I’ve still been ridiculously overthinking this, although yesterday I came up with a new plan which I’m much happier with.

To whoever is making a mug rug for me, please don’t stress about it.  I will love it because you made it for me.  I love the mug rugs I have received in previous swaps and they are in constant use.
