As per our @Bodgeitandscarper I have now acquired the same pattern. Mines being done at the listed size from scraps for various reasons. Being p*** poor being the main reason  :P so it won't be as pleasant to look at as bodgies.
I believe I've completed the top pocket correctly although it's doubtful as I struggled to understand the instructions. Why would there be 2 separate panels for the bottom part of said pocket?  :S The mindeth boggleth.
I've probably done as much unpicking as bodgie through cockups uncertainty.
Please excuse the mess. Its normal here  :D

Looks great - I shall follow the instructions for the zips next time, and put those little tab ends on them.  I'm too prone to making it up as I go instead of following instructions!

I'm spending tonight reading, re-reading, and reading the instructions yet again!

I think it's so you have a back and a front to the pocket, and not using the outer as the back of the pocket - if that makes sense.

Nope...that doesn't make sense
The way I read it and subsequently sewed it, has the 2 sides sewn together. The instructions said to sew all 3 layers together so I took it to mean the 2 sides and the zipper sewn between them. As if to make sure there are no raw edges inside the pocket. The whole thing is then sewn to the lining of the outer.

I'm guessing you've done it as 1 side sewn to each half of the zip?

@Bill I've just read the instructions for the pocket - I see what you've done.  As you say, it must be so there isn't a raw edge inside the pocket.

Speaking of pockets, have you read the instructions for the end zip pockets?  Good luck with them!!  I think I'll make it up as I go along!!

I didn't like the green. Or the fact little was lining up. So I've unpicked everything to grab the zip and I'll be starting again when I'm home from having all my blood sucked out of me.
Hum de dum.

That looks great Bill!

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.
