Hello from Merseyside
« on: February 17, 2022, 16:33:22 PM »
Hi, I'm Catherine, and currently live in Liverpool.
I was until recently a freelance translator, and a bit of a workaholic. I am now retired, but somehow busier than ever.
I've always loved sewing - lots of clothes when I was younger, then mainly house stuff, and in the last few years clothes again - inspired by some of the wonderful fabrics available through internet shops and on ebay. I own several sewing machines and an overlocker, and a fair sized stash.
Since I will soon be a grandmother, I'm now attempting to make some interesting baby clothes. Fiddly but fun.

Hello and welcome  :D
As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

Hello from me too for the second time!

You've joined at a very dramatic time for TSP, but bear with us.

It might be an idea to join the TSP life Raft over on Faceache in case of further upsets ...

@CMBYRNE  Welcome to TSP.  You have joined just as TSP was moved over to a new server, and just missed getting wet on the life raft over on Facebook.

Do tell us more about the lovlies that you plan to sew for the expected arrival.

Welcome from me too.

Sewing for GKs is great fun, most of the time.  You can experiment with all those pieces left over from adult garments.

Hello & welcome! Sewing for GKs is great, small projects needing small quantities. What are you planning on making? Have you started collecting patterns yet?
