ARMY FLYING MUSEUM (Wallop) NEEDS CROCHET ENTHUSIASTS FOR NEW 80TH
ANNIVERSARY GLIDER PROJECT
Do you crochet or know someone who does?
The Army flying museum based in Hampshire needs crochet enthusiasts to jump on board
their latest project to mark the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Glider Pilot
regiment formed in 1942.
The glorious Gliders community project run by the Army flying museum need help to create
a mini squadron of gliders for a mass art display project inspired by the museums gliders in
February inspired by the glider pilot regiment.
To mark the 80th anniversary they are aiming to have 800 mini gliders ready for the display
in late Spring.
100 gliders have been received so far, but can you help reach 800 for this special
commemorative display project?
