Hello and thanks for welcome
« on: March 05, 2022, 13:16:16 PM »
Just joined (quite new to sewing world - started during lockdown), and I posted a question in the vintage sewing machine area and got such a helpful, warm response back within hours that I knew this was a welcoming place - thanks for having me.
I'll share some of my creations when I get chance - I make bags and hats mainly for outdoor heavy duty outdoor use.
I picked up a vintage Bernina 707 Minimatic and love it - done some maintenance and fixing on it and am addicted to making things now.

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

Thank you all!

Where would I post photo's of my (admittedly basic) creations? Here on this thread or somewhere else?

You could start yourself a diary thread in The Emporia section and start chronicling your adventures there.
'Jill' of many aspects of sewing, "Mistress" of few.
