Any Bernina 707 owners managed to get after market cut n sew attachment to fit?

Hi all - I bought an aftermarket cut n sew attachment (and an adaptor ) to put on my Bernina Minimatic 707. Despite it being very cheap, it looks well made.

However , upon fitting it, it seems to be catching on the foot clasp at the back (sorry if my terminology for the parts of the sewing machine arent perfect, I haven't been sewing long and taught myself from scratch)

If you own that particular machine and have managed to get one toward, is there some secret that I cant work out?

Could they have sent the wrong type of adapter? There are two sorts of two pronged adapters.

@StitchinTime Ah, thank you for that thought, quite possible I guess.

I will look into that and see if I can work it out from looking at the photos alone
