Thought I'd say hi to all. Old guy here that likes to try make things using older machines, also fixing them from time to time. Looking forward to learning from you all  :bye:

Thanks to all for the welcome, I personally like to make bags, hats but I try  :meditate: whatever the good wife or the kid tells me they need or want. Also hoping to do some more clothing for myself this year, specifically shirts and waistcoat. In the last year or so, I've been trying to understand pattern making more with some hilarious results lol

Welcome to TSP @SewCanDad
You’ll find lots of help here I’m sure.  Pattern making is something I enjoy but the results aren’t always what I'm hoping for.

Hello and welcome to TSP @SewCanDad   I like using old machines too. I mostly use my Singer 201  :vintage:
Willing but not always able :)

Again, thanks for the warm welcome.

@realale  - I'll be asking questions for sure and maybe even post up the odd pic or two ;)

@Ohsewsimple  - maybe we'll have to compare the mistakes made by both and have a giggle or two.

@Lilian  - My main machine of choice is my late 40's Singer 15-91 and a mid 60's Japanese built zigzag machine. I do like my old machines ;)  I also have a few more that get pulled out from time to time.

Only modern machine I own is a cheap Singer overlocker which … so far … has worked well for my needs (so I won't bash it too much).
