Is anyone making a quilt?

Not much happening around here of late....is anyone working on a quilt?
I have one more row to do to complete the quilt top for my friends birthday and so I'm looking for inspiration.
I fancy something a bit different.....any ideas??

Two!  I began quilting ‘Spirals’ this week and DS1’s quilt is ready to be quilted.

My bird quilt is waiting to be sandwiched and quilted.

I’m making my giraffe quilt…very slowly. It’s for an, as yet, unknown baby , so there’s no rush and the weather’s too good to be inside. I’ve now put a border on it, so the next step will be to sandwich it all together.  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]  

I’ve also got plans to make a girly baby quilt in case a friend’s expected grandchild turns out to be the first girl in generations. I’m thinking about a starry one for a change. Maybe like this one, but a bit more scrappy.  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Our goddaughters (now 3 and 4.5) have the quilts I made them on their beds every night.  It makes me feel so good seeing them!

I have one basted and ready for quilting and the pattern for the next one bought. I’m hoping that after next week it will ease off a bit at work and I might be able to take a few days off. Things have been non-stop since December and I could do with a break.

My BOM Mystery quilt needs quilting... its layered but i dont know how well.
Heathies quilt should be a quick make but Ive been procrastinating for no reason that I can think of

I have a sandwich that is in the middle of being quilted - more on this later as i have tried a new technique that i would definitely avoid in the future... As well as 2 patchwork tops that are in various stages of being put together.

I have an almost finished quilt with the binding stitched on.  Its on the table in my sewing room with the first few clips on the binding .  My sewing room is like the Mary Celeste at the moment.  I just went in there to change the clock and everything is where I left it 3 weeks ago.
