More help/advice needed please

I have now applied all the raw edge applique and embroidered some music scores onto the quilt, it is currently sandwiched and adorned with pins.
Would you quilt it all over?
Quilt it around the applique?
What colour to use?
Change the colour when i hit a different colour?
Just to remind you this is the quilt i am making

Are the layers lying FLAT together ... looking at the pic there seems to be some movement?
If the layers are not flat together (which is why I use 505 basting glue) you are going to have problems with puckering when you quilt.

As for quilting maybe echo the shapes of the sections of sky ... As I did with The Phoenix and the currents of the water in the Undersea Hanging
