A warm Welcome from me  :thread:

What do you like to sew?
I’m a fabricholic on the road to recovery. Just kidding. I’m on the road to the fabric store.

Hello Eileen, welcome from me too.

What do you like to sew?

Yes, do tell us more.  :)
Hopefully back more regularly! Ballroom sewing may be permanently paused but bag making is the current focus.

Hello and welcome Eileen. I found it by accident too. (I'm still finding bits by accident).

Thank you for your warm welcome.  I'm not sure how to reply to individuals and a couple of you asked what I like to sew.

I thoroughly enjoy quilting, although not large quilts and my other love is making bags.  I used to make my own clothes, but don't seem to be able to get a good pattern fit now days.  This is probably down to my elderly and misshaped body.  I try to sew every day and get so much enjoyment from this hobby.

Welcome to the forum.

I thoroughly enjoy quilting, although not large quilts and my other love is making bags.

In that case get yourself over to the Dark Side (P&Q) and Accessories forums and show us some of your work which I'm sure will be stunning.

Hello from another Somerset person  :)

I enjoy trying to renovate vintage machines, and working with textiles as an art form as well as starting 'sensible' sewing again now my family are long grown.

Nice to meet you
