A very warm welcome from me too. I'm and quilter and a garment maker so I often sit on the fence - a most uncomfortable position, I can assure you!

Hello and welcome from me too.
I'm  a 'that'lldo' quilter as my main love is dressmaking - well clothes making not just dresses.  :D
You'll get some good helpful quilting advice on here from the darksiders.
Has anyone mentioned that we like pics? Lots of them!!  0_0

Hello and welcome to TSP.  We all started somewhere - back in the mists of time.

You will have realised by now that any stray self professed quilt police quickly get locked up in Acorn's shed in the depths of a large patch of brambles surrounded by stinging nettles, so your quilt can be whatever you want it to be, but bravo on choosing flying geese  and diagonal cuts for your first attempt.

The crochet police never caught up with me so I'm sure I can escape the clutches of the quilt police. I am very much a "that'll do, no-one will ever know" crafter so what are a few puckers between friends?

Welcome @RosyPosy  - I've evaded both the crochet and the darkside bugs, so far. I did try to get into crochet but didn't enjoy it.

Welcome, sit back and enjoy!

A rather belated welcome from me too.  I'm not a patchwork person (work of the devil, surely!) but firmly in the "no-one will ever notice that bit" department, hence my user name  0_0
