I finally got around to using a pretty piece of vynyl I've had since last year and made myself a bag for work.

The fabric is stunning! Why is it called a “beanie baguette” bag?

Maybe the baguette refers to the gem shape which is long and rectangular and the beanie bit is the hat which is small and close fitting.  So it would be a small, long, rectangular shape?  Maybe?
As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."
