My Bonsai Apron

One of my friends from the Quilt Guild had sewn this pretty, old-fashioned wrap apron. It’s nice & long, covering my clothing, all the way below my knees.  Why she sewed this, I have no idea, as she is just 5 feet tall.  Since it doesn’t fit her, she kindly gave it to me.  As it is a nice light weight, it is perfect for working on my Bonsai, on warm summer days.  So I added a little embroidery

I wondered if a Bonsai apron was a very small apron  :)
Life's too short for ironing.

How lovely to get an unexpected gift like that.  I do like your little addition.
As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

That embroidery makes the gift so special.
Although, when I read the title I imagined a bonsai tree with an apron around it and wondered 'why?'  :embarrassed:
So many beers, so little time.

Thank you all for the kind words.  I got a chance to wear it today, for a week bit of gardening. Nice & comfy.
