LED for Husqvarna Megaquilter (Janome 1600P etc etc)

Just posted this on the vintage machines board.  It isn't really vintage, so I'm posting it here too.

If anyone knows of an led bulb that will fit a Husqvarna Megaquilter (the same as Janome 1600P and various others) I would be eternally grateful!  According to the manual it's 12v, 5W, and it looks like this:

I did manage to get one that fitted the description, intended for (from memory) a car number plate light, but it didn't fit very well, and didn't work.

Wow Celia - thank you!!     I can't believe I didn't try Coles - that's where I got my Topaz, and where I had it serviced.

I've contacted them to make sure it is the right one, but I think it must be.

The only criticism I have of my Megaquilter is that the light is (currently) too dim.

@Acorn I think the bulb in the link is a halogen bulb, not an LED bulb, but it may be an improvement on what you have.

As long as it's brighter I'll be happy.  LED would be good, but I don't keep it switched on for long periods, so energy-wise it wouldn't make a vast difference.

The mega quilter doesn’t take an LED bulb, the newer Janome HD9 does but it would be a bit expensive to change just for that
