I've made a pair of curtains for the landing, and a phone case, and I've been getting on with the stitching on th Boro bag. Not all this afternoon's work, I hasten to add, but its only taken about a week.

Pics in a mo.

Oh, the phone case is slightly wonky because I foolishly doubted my original calculations and chopped a bit off, however it's not as wonky as the pics. suggest!  I went for velcro as @Celia did because I thought it would be easier than a popper - and it is  :)

I will make another one soonish which will look exactly the same but not wonky.

I failed to send myself the curtain pic. but curtains is curtains when all's said and done!

Brilliant @realale well done for persevering and getting all the lovely blocks done. Its going to be amazing.

Wow @Flobear curtains and a phone case and hand stitching....

Since my sewing room was moderately tidy, I decided to go in the garage and root in the boxes for things I might use to make C a Christmas dress, and of course other fabrics which leapt into my arms when I was in there.
So I now have giant piles on the table, floor and futon. Hmmm

Oh dear @SewRuthieSews - I recognise that scenario!

I have to say, making three things at once create a lot of heaps and debris especially the Boro bag which is intended to use up scraps.

@Flobear I'm also sorting paperwork and clothing for donation, so I've really messed things up nicely!

I managed a couple of rows of my knitting. At this rate my shawl will be finished by the time I'm 60.

I had some friends visit and knit in the afternoon so I was knitting but not able to post.

Glad to see the phone case, I always seem to end up making 2 no matter what @Flobear it looks great.

A bit tired and sore after my unscheduled extended walk, this morning but I've turned up and pinned the hem on my pyjama top - ITS Visby top but without the cuffs because the arms are man length with them. Now sitting at the table, willing Jane to just crack on and do the job herself.

I finished sewing the blocks together and then started sewing the rows to each other.
Still pondering the blessed border.  ::thinks::

Ooh! I've been sewing on the correct day! DD's skirt has had 10cm removed from the waist, half at each side seam. The fabric is a slippery synthetic jersey with a lacy looking top layer. Khaki.  Sounds horrible but it looks good. So 4 seams to take in then the front waistband is flat & the back elasticated. Not difficult, just fiddly. I've nearly finished 4 Ripstop bags which will be to shovel sand into  on the beach, to weight down the gazebo. Nothing like getting ready for next summer.

I've been doing more Sashiko stitching on my Boro bag; it's taking bloomin' ages but is quite therapeutic. Can't do anything much as two thirds of downstairs is out of commission due to the imminent laying of new flooring. There's levellng compound drying out on the floor and all the furniture has been moved into the living room and conservatory. The large dining room table is sitting in the middle of our small kitchen as there's nowhere else for it to go.

No sewing today.  Don’t think I can concentrate.  I’ve been looking for shoes online.

I've had a run on bag designing. Three designs made into patterns, two of which I'm putting on hold for now, as I don't have the right coloured leather. The third I'll make a start on.
In my dreams I'm still sewing....and also in my nightmares.

I cut out a pair of dark brown ponte Style Arc's Sailor Sue palazzo pants this afternoon. There was just enought light to see what I was doing properly. Not sure when I'll get to sew them up but I'm ready to go when the mood takes me.

I tidied the sewing room. It does look better but didn't manage any actual sewing. :-(

Repaired inside OH's coat pocket. Then cut out 4 fronts (B, C, D, DD) cups (I think we know she isn't less than 'average')  and a back, from a fitting pattern.  Sewed in the darts tonight. Tomorrow  I will show my student how she differs from the B fitting and what alterations she will always have to make
