Hi Everybody! So glad to be here!
« on: May 17, 2023, 14:29:55 PM »
Hello! I'm Kim (aka "sewsy") from the alas no-longer-functioning sewing forum Stitchers' Guild. I've been sewing a long time now, over fifty plus years, give or take and I'm still so thrilled to be able to sit in front of a sewing machine and turn a piece of flat fabric into something to wear.

I'm so looking forward to being able to post my thoughts/dreams/plans/makes on a place like this with like-minded people. I've missed having that comraderie since SG went down.

Thanks so much for having me! I really appreciate your kindness and being welcomed here!

Cheers from across the pond!

Hello and a warm welcome from me too  :D
As it neared the top of the grade, it went more slowly. However, it still kept saying, "I—think—I—can, I—think—I—can." It reached the top by drawing on bravery and then went on down the grade, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could,  I thought I could."

Welcome @sewsy. Hadn't realised Stitchers' Guild has closed. You have a warm welcome here on TSP.
