Success after the initial set back  :D
I finished the dress using Vogue 1496 and I love it. The check is too busy for fringe trim/hem, so for this one I decided to go without it. I have a pink silk/cotton Linton Tweed sidelined for the next version - with fringed hem.
I love the unusual lined of the pattern, and the effect of the pattern at the back.

I finished the second one, pink with fringes, and feel so much better about the earlier failure. Here it is, again Vogue 1469, loosely based on the Chanel cruise collection (much more wearable for me that way  ;)).
