Utta is the Vogue 8346 the pattern you used for your beautiful tapestry coat?

I am hoping to make this for winter and am looking for fabric, though I wouldn't dare beas bold as you.

Aw shucks, thank you.  :|  The pattern is

view D.  Fortunately, the rather ugly lapels are hidden by the busy fabric.  I was thinking of making again as a winter coat, but have moved on from this.

I'm a bit late to this thread, but I've recently received the September issue of Knip Mode, a Dutch sewing magazine.

They've revamped their patterns in the last 12 months and are at least a rival to Burda now.  Back on topic, there is a really nice jacket that could easily be lengthened to a coat and you can download the pattern as a PDF for about €5.

Here it is:

I'm afraid so, Iminei.  However, I've offered (on another thread) to post a glossary of Dutch sewing terms.

The jacket is reasonably straight forward, as these things go, and I'd be happy to add to the vast amount of TSP help available if anyone needs a hand with anything.

Just a note about Simplicity 1067.  It is unlined.  One of my students made it a few months ago.  Of course, the style had to be altered and she wanted it lined.  :P

:| I hadn't noticed.  I would never consider or recommend an unlined coat, although those with sufficient skills could draft a lining.
