I have got some of this https://ukfabricsonline.com/high-quality-softshell to make up as this https://jaycotts.co.uk/products/b6491-misses-loose-shirts-with-stand-collar-shaped-hem-and-tucks#.WcD92ch95PY which I know it says it's a shirt, but I reckon it will work.  My fabric is quite thin as it doesn't have a fleecy back, it's a sort of very thin knitted nylony back.

Yes it does doesn't it?  I even bought it thinking it was a coat - just shows I don't read the description!
