Quilt for the Sewing Place Bear from Vegegrow

My quilt was made from scraps and an oddment of an orange FQ from stash.



All the coloured Triangles are 2 tone Oakshott fabrics the black is a quilting cotton I made the quilt using a method from Paula Doyle suggested by Imi  I drew a grid on iron on interfacing and arranged the  black triangles first as there were more of them




I then added the colours and stitched


 
Cut some black borders and some corner stones
And backed with plain orange the binding was made with more of the scraps stitched to a black band made from Oakshott scraps and quilting cotton quilted along triangle base edge
 


Finished quilt size 11.5” x 9”
