I need to get mine layered up and finished too.  Will do it at my quilt group in the New Year I think.

Beautiful ..... Bravo Ploshie !!!!!

The quilting isn't just diagonal lines ... you have picked out various areas of the quilt and make them stand out!!
Love the backing fabric and hasn't it worked out well, Navy sofa, rather dark, cool and Nyeh ...

Add this lil sparkler and suddenly, cosy, warm and a lil bit of your MIL around when you're watching your favourite programmes ( I am assuming because you were making this for her, you liked her of course!)  :S

And there you go into the Mystery Quilt HOF ......

Oh ? Didn't you Girls know we had a Mystery Quilt Hall of Fame ???    :o

I'm no quilter but looking at your HOF I think anyone could be inspired to have a go! I'm really attracted by all the lovely colours and patterns but I just know I'd never manage to do the actual quilting... Keep going ladies, can't wait to see your results  0_0

A lot of the Darksiders like one particular aspect of P&Q more than the others ... whether it be the Piecing, Layering, Quilting or the Binding.

Why not try your hand at a  BOM or two ???

http://thesewingplace.org.uk/index.php/board,14.0.html

You don't have to make a quilt from them, tho' Im guessing one or two of the blocks are very addictive and you may well end up with more than a few of them, which very quickly can become a wall hanging, cot or lap quilt. And if the quilting is not for you there are professional longarmers out there.

Or for an even easier intro into the Dark Side why not read through this tut for a simple (I promise, promise, promise it is) and easy cot quilt ....

We would welcome you joining us in The Dark Side!

Thank you Pearl. It was all straight line quilting with the walking foot. I can think about BOM now this one's out of the way.  0_0

Hey, long time ago Iminei has started this wonderful mystery,... I have to admit, that I lost interest with the typos, not because of the typos itselfs, but I have "corrected" them TWICE WRONG!!!!!  >:) :S Silly me!!!!

Today I found the right mood to get everything out of the UFO box again and atm I am trying to understand, what went wrong  :P

Is there anybody else, who has not finished yet and would like to make a 2nd try?  :[

My top is finished but it's not quilted.  Some on the squares are not very square and I'm not sure they can be rectified.  It is on my UFO list though so hopefully, I'll be in the mood to face it at some stage.

I'm in! Question though: Could you tell us the largest CUT size for each fabric? It would help immensely in shopping my stash as I have a lot of pre-cut scraps and small pieces I'd love to use up.
