Baby Quilt Batting
« on: September 22, 2017, 17:08:49 PM »
Advice needed Darksiders, I am making a quilt from a soon to arrive great nephew/niece.

The top and thread are all cotton ( of course) but I need batting and need recommendations please.

I want a natural product that's not too lofty, organic would be good but not vital.  I'm backing it with a striped brushed cotton.

I've always used 80/20 ( 0% cotton 20% polyester ). Bamboo is good to use but expensive to buy  :)

I usually use 100% cotton, have used 80/20 when that's all that was available at short notice.

Yes, Hobbs is probably the top brand.  They have lots of different types.
