I've just been reading DF's blog and in her latest post she admits to finally joining the dark side with some Cathedral window patchwork and very nice it is too.

To be fair it does seem more like a means to an end than a conversion to P&Q.

0_0  0_0 Fairy is never going to be a full convert.  I admire the work, but I can't be doing with small pieces that have to be precisely cut and sewn and some of the designs would send me cross-eyed.  I also have large sweaty hands which militates against fine work. :D

And a beautiful job shes done too!! As would be expected from DF...

I thought i'd post this here as proof just in case she goes into denial and removes the wordpress blog.

you little tinkers!

I have got quite fast at it though, and worked out some tricks to move it along a bit...But I can only cope with one panel at a time in a concerted rush.  And I need five of the buggers.  Assuming my calculations aren't messed up!

Hi DF,
I have a fascination with the Dark Side... how does it feel to join it? Is it fun?

I kind of think about it from time to time... but the time commitment and space to organise is beyond me, currently.

Be careful, Roger.  The Dark Side is like the Hotel California - "You can check out any time you like but you can never leave."

 :o it’s been a while since I got taken into a dark alley!  :o

I am interested... but I must finish some of my other projects... the back log of machines and pile of belly dance clothes! I’m supposed to making a circle skirt and top out of an incredibly glamorous black jewelled sari... amongst others...
