I've done my bear quilt. It's appliquéd. I've sort of miniaturised the quilt I made last week, the bulldog one. The colours I've kept soft, in the main, so as not to distract bear at bedtime. Very calming. On the back are some words to give him nice thoughts b4 sleep.

Finished result is 9 1/4" X 11 1/2", portrait view.

It's made almost entirely of 100% cotton fabrics, threads a mixture of coton and polyester threads, the lettering is felt.

The appliqués have been satin stitched in relevant coloured thread and the background has been squiggly meandered in a Mettler silk finish Cotton Art 9085 thread. The borders kept free of quilting to keep it nice and soft by bears face
