The new Vogue winter patterns are out on the US website.

I'll probably go for the Tilton jacket and skirt and the Betzina jacket when they finally arrive in the UK. There's a Guy Laroche jacket which is split to the waist shown in the line art worn with norhing underneath. Vogue, what are you thinking producing this!! Just what you need to wear on the school run or Sainsbos trip, I'm sure!

Thank you.
The Anne Klein jacket, 1571, is almost exactly what I have been looking for, though I'm not sure about the pleat in the back. I had bought some Marc Jacobs wool/cotton mix and this was what I had in mind.

Yes I like the AK jacket and the trousers. Not sure if I could be bothered lining the trousers though.

What, not even the split to the waist Guy Laroche top?
I usually go for the Tilton stuff but I have zillions of Tilton tops and jackets which are all a bit similar. Even so.... I'm not a party frock person so I won't go for any of those. I found more things I liked in McCalls' latest release and have just received a wee parcel of half price patterns from Sewdirect..

Oh wow I love some of these. The cape, the high waist trousers and the collared dress in particular.
I like the styling of the split waist top. I think it would ruin the effect of it to put something under it for the photos.

Absolutely love this:
I always see so much ponte for sale and I think this would be a great top for it for work.
Nothing else I like though

I like
and someone on PatternReview was looking for a coat/cape very much like this
Don't like the big, patch pockets.

Hadn't spotted the cape somehow. Absolutely love it! I had a throw-over knitted houndstooth cape thing and I loved it.

Yeah I'd leave off the pockets but I think it's fab other than that.

Yes the cape is rather exotic! I agree - pockets wrong!

I was disappointed with Vogue's offering this time around. I'm not keen on the Tilton stuff - I think that she's the sewing equivalent of Status Quo who seem to have released the same song for the last 30 years with just a bit of tinkering around the edges.
