So I ... did flying geese instead.

If I were making this block, I would make flying geese too. Why wouldn't you?  ;)

Very nicely done, however you made the HST pointy bits ...

Which brings me to a question I have often pondered when making together 4 " HST's into flying geese ...
Why the different methods???

Because with FG  ... adding two squares on the diagonal to each end of a rectangle ... you get an unbroken pattern in the middle bit of course !!! So now I know!

and Plosh, that is indeed a beautiful Block, Congratulations and into the BOM HOF you go ....

So I was only working half day today so I thought this afternoon I'd tackle this block using some lovely fabrics that came in a scrap bag that I bought recently.  I cut the pieces, made the half square triangles, sewed them together to make flying geese, assembled the block, feeling very pleased with myself.  Then I noticed I got the fabric the wrong way round on my FG.   :(

Take 2.

I almost prefer your layout, Pearl. Love the fabric.  <3

Why is it that when we're being our most careful, we make silly mistakes?  :S I've done it so many times.

Being a little late to the lovely party that is TSP - this is my first BOM. I'm hoping to catch up on a few more in the coming weeks but don't think I'll find time to make them all (unfortunately). :S

I enjoyed making this one although my machine didn't like the paper. I've never tried FPP before so would probably have to play with tensions if I did it again. I followed Iminei's clear instructions to the letter so it all came together fairly quickly, if with a bit of a fiddle.  ><

Oooh, I love your colourful background, Kenora.

And just to prove I'm not a complete Muppet (and because I didn't expect my first attempt to be accepted into the HOF, what with it being... em... wrong)

Pearl, if there's a wooden BOM spoon to be had my shimmering car crash would be hard to beat.

I don't think any of the blocks can be wrong..... it's a different interpretation  0_0

Okay, if we're going down that route then my September BOM is wrong and I didn't realise until it was in the HOF. I may do another but hey ho - as Lowena said 'it's my interpretation'. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it ;)
