I first saw them on Pinterest and thought it was a good use for odd scraps. It didn't take long to make: I suppose about 3 hours all together, but I just did a page whenever I had a few spare minutes and it was amazing how quickly I had them all ready to join. It took a bit of thinking out- I tried to stick roughly to the order of colours in the rainbow, but also did a black and white page and a brown page. I joined the front and back cover and the first and last page to make a mini  'quilt' l then I made 2 other mini quilts out of the other 8 colour pages. Finally I sewed through the middle to join the 3 rectangles and make the book. Hope that makes sense. Should have taken pictures in progress!
