Burda Envelop SS 2018

Here they are on the DE site:

https://beta.burdastyle.de/shop/schnittmuster?listImage=technical&edition=381&issue=350&year=2018

One dress was a Plus pattern previously and the side-pleated high-waist skirt was in May 2012.

I love a lot of the releases but that's no surprise #burdafangirl

What do you think?

Thanks for the link lakaribane, I'm just about to start a free Burda shirtwaist dress which is similar to the 6440 : https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjEosfq8MrYAhUE7BQKHZobD7EQjRwIBw&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinterest.com%2Fpin%2F340584790560780798%2F&psig=AOvVaw1z2OR79ivQ0ipELSBM3T3G&ust=1515582168798261

And I came across this free Mathias Ackerman dress which is similar to 6442 : https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj7rO6c8crYAhVBoBQKHXCiCrsQjRwIBw&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinterest.com%2Fpin%2F425449496029624060%2F&psig=AOvVaw1z2OR79ivQ0ipELSBM3T3G&ust=1515582168798261

Not seeing anything else that inspires me though, the trouser pattern 6432B I already have.....

I'll see how I go on with the two free ones.

Sorry, sorry, sorry!   :( :( :(

The links are to Bernina patterns NOT Burda.

Sorry again..... I can only blame lack of sleep and concentration.....

They are similar though......  :( ;) -<

Beautiful patterns if you can fit into their limited size range. Of course, all the plus sized ones are either baggy and frumpy or with an elasticated waist. Us women over a 46 don't actually have bodies we want to show off do we *rolls eyes*.

This is the only thing worth looking at IMO Dress. But I've never sewn a Burda pattern, never having the luxury to fit into their limited size range and thus wouldn't know if it would fit (I reckon by looks it'll be part of the "fat people have huge fat necks" style of sizing e.g Colette);

I think the two free Bernina links I posted in error, go up to 48 Fran, if that's any use to you.

Apparently the shirtwaist comes up very big if you read this review: https://sewing.patternreview.com/Patterns/40762

I get the newsletters from most of the Burdastyle websites #fangurl and just realized that the Fr site gives little line drawing composites of the envelop patterns by theme! How cool is that?

SS 2018 here

FW 2017 here

I will say that the Fr site does have good ideas. They posted the 2017 bestsellers in envelops and magazine patterns at the end of last year which I thought was a great idea.

Aaaand they sell the envelop patterns as PDFs as does the DE site! I really wish the US site (the most accessible to me) would do the same...
